[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]LOVE BraceletCartier is the Rolls Royce of fine goods.  It defines status and the brand is known for watches, fine jewelry, writing instruments, leather goods and accessories.  Last week we talked about Tiffany’s, which we had a huge response to, and this week we are going to discuss another icon, Cartier.

When I think of Cartier, I think of watches, but I am a watch guy, and I always think of watches first, from the Tank Francaise to the Ballon Bleu de Cartier, the Pasha and the Roadster.  I love all Cartier watches.  I think they are simply stunning in their design, made to perfection and classic timepieces that have amazing resale value.

Cartier Love

Perhaps the most recognized of all the Cartier jewelry is the Love Bracelet, which was first designed in 1969 by Aldo Cipullo.  The Love Bracelet is styled after the chastity belts that were designed to resemble the chastity belts from the medieval times, hence the locking mechanisms or screws, that only the person who places the bracelet on your wrist can remove it.

Although the original design of the Cartier Love Bracelet hasn’t changed, the design has morphed and become more contemporary over the years with the addition of diamonds and multicolored gemstones and even double love bracelets intertwined that were introduced this year.

The Love line also now has rings, earrings and necklaces, so you can show your Cartier Love in yellow gold, rose gold and white gold, with or without fine gemstones and not just on your wrists.  We love the Love bracelets and for a Love bracelet that has the box, papers and screw you will get quite a nice return on the bracelet if your Love has been lost and your looking to cash in.

Trinity de Cartier

I am in love with the Trinity de Cartier. Something about the three bands that roll around on your finger and sit perfectly on your hand. No matter how many companies have attempted to copy this perfection, no one has quite been able to achieve it, because there is magic with the Trinity that these other rings just don’t have.

The Trinity de Cartier was created in 1924 and is one of the longest running lines that Cartier has.  The three interlocking never ending circles of 18 Kt. Yellow, white and rose gold represent enduring friendship, loyalty and true love.  Over the years the width of the rings has changed and styles have been added, but the original remains the most recognized and bought.

The Trinity line can also be bought as earrings, bracelets and necklaces, but nothing beats the three bands of the rolling rings.

Why We Buy Cartier

I think this sums up why I love Cartier and more importantly, why when it comes across my desk I always buy it.
