[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Welcome to our second installation of watch of the week. This week I am going to do a ladies edition! One thing I have noticed is that there is plenty of information all over the Internet about mens watches, but not much out there that covers womens watches.
Time (no pun intended) to even the score and help out the ladies and blog about some watches for them, which for all you gentlemen, you should take some notes, as a watch makes an awesome gift for a birthday or anniversary!
I love Patek Philippe. The grace and beauty of the Patek is outstanding and the craftsmanship never seems to fail year after year. It is one of those timeless watches that if you take good care of this timepiece, it will last you a lifetime. Also, as a watch buyer, I appreciate that it retains its value.
Patek Philippe has made many outstanding watches over the years that have caught my eye, and although I have never owned one myself, being more of a Rolex man, and I just havent yet wanted to make that kind of commitment to a watch, since I break up with my watches so often.
Patek The History
The brand, Patek Philippe, was started in the 1800s by a French watchmaker and a Polish immigrant, but today is a 4th generation family owned business. There is no doubt that you pay for the name Patek Philippe, but they have over 200 watches that are in regular production, and they do not make large quantities of each model. And to own one is like owning a piece of history.
Watch of the Week – Patek Philippe Ladies Twenty~4
I dont know what it is about the Twenty~4 that I love so much. But, this watch has always drawn me since it first was introduced in 1999. Maybe it is the tilde that is in the title or the way the fold-over clasp is so unobtrusive you dont even know it is there.
Or perhaps it is the diamonds edging along the rectangular case of the watch or the clean face with the applied Roman numerals. These watches now come in several styles, so I am sure there would be one that is pleasing to every woman, from stainless to completely blinged out with diamonds.
You Cant Go Wrong with a Patek Philippe
Here is the thing, you cant go wrong with a Patek Philippe. If you can afford it, or even if you can find one that is used and for a great price, buy it. This watch buyer recommends it, and also recommends it as the watch of the week![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
