But, enough of the sales pitch. Actually, I take that back. This article is going to be ALL sales pitch. I don’t do sales pitches often. I like to write articles that inform and will help you decide what you want and know how to buy, but this time I want you to see what we have, and more importantly, I want you to bring your vintage Rolex watches, Patek Philippe watches, Cartier watches, Omega watches, Audemars Piguet watches and all other watches, including pocket watches to Jonathan’s Fine Jewelers.
Vintage Watch by Patek Philippe 18 kt. Yellow Gold Calatrava Ref. 3590
This watch is in such exceptional condition it looks as if it was barely worn. It is a manually wound automatic wristwatch and the movement is marked 2737977. Roman numeral dial with a hobnail bezel and snap on back. Original tang buckle and original strap size 18.
Patek Philippe for N. Matson & Co. 18 kt. Chronograph Pocket Watch
This watch is BEAUTIFUL. The movement and the case are both marked with the #61672. The case is stamped 18 kt. The inside movement is skeleton and is marked Patek Phillipe. This is an open face pocket watch and is mechanical wind. The back of the case has the initials M.S. on it in a very ornate script. On the inside of the first cover, BFS GKG and the date 11/9/29 have been scratched into the surface. There are surface scratches and wear on this timepiece as it is vintage.
There were not many of these made for the Jewelry store that dealt mostly in silver in Chicago Illinois, so this is indeed a VERY rare find! The watch measures 1 2/3″ in diameter on the face and the entire watch is about 2″ in diameter. The watch weighs 119.6 grams. Comes with a suede cover.
Sapphire and Diamond Platinum Watch
This antique diamond and sapphire watch from Montreaux watch company has diamonds and sapphires throughout the case. There are 40 round diamonds and 14 square cut sapphires. The back of the case is stamped “egs” and inside of case is stamped “plat”. The bracelet fits a 6-¼ inch wrist and is marked 12 karat gold-filled.
Rolex Bubbleback 1940’s Stainless and Rose Gold Ref. 3372
Serial #30xxxx with stainless steel case and, original dial and rose gold index bezel. Case measures 32 mm without the crown and 38.88 mm from lug to lug. Comes on a 16.5mm wide black lizard strap.
Longines 14 kt white gold and diamond Watch head with Original Box and Papers
The Face is a cream color with bezel set diamond markers and a sub dial at the 6-o’clock position. The crystal is cut in a trapezoid shape. The movement number matches the number on the warranty card also enclosed within the original papers that came with this watch.
