Taylor Lautner and Tay Dome are tying the knot! We’re deep in engagement season, and you don’t want to miss this stunning ring or celebrity proposal.

The Couple: Taylor Lautner and Tay Dome
Even if you’ve never seen a single Twilight movie, you’re probably well aware of Taylor Lautner. But who is his non-famous fiancé?
Taylor Lautner
Taylor grew up near Grand Rapids, Michigan but moved to L.A. during high school. He always knew he wanted to be an actor, and would often fly between Los Angeles and Michigan when his agent called.
Early roles include appearances on The Bernie Mac Show and My Wife and Kids, plus several voice over gigs.
His break out role came in 2007 at the age of 17, when he was cast as Jacob Black in the Twilight movie series. The first film was a massive success, but director Chris Weitz wanted to recast his role for Twilight‘s sequel.
Instead Lautner weight trained extensively, gained 30 pounds of muscle mass, and kept his original role in the film series. Critics claim his transformation to be a major reason for the series’ success.
He instantly became a teenage heartthrob. Since his early teenage success, Lautner has starred in a few other movies and sitcoms, but has largely kept a low profile.
Tay Dome
Tay Dome has no Hollywood rep sheet, but she is a California native and does play a significant role in Lautner’s life. Plus she’s a registered nurse according to her social media profiles.
Speaking of social media, Tay is an influencer with over 200k followers on Instagram where she shares her life with Taylor, adventures in nursing, and self care.
How did Taylor Lautner and Tay Dome Meet?
According to several resources (and their social media accounts), Lautner met Tay Dome through his sister, Makena. Sources say Makena met Tay at a small church in Nashville.
Makena shared on social media, “Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I’m feeling tooty 😉 think I picked out a good one for my brother,” the caption says. Taylor commented as well in all caps saying, “You did good, kid.”
Lautner and Dome have officially been dating for three years. He shared a Halloween photo of them in 2018, and has been keeping fans updated on their relationship since.
The Engagement Story
You can see a highlight of Taylor’s intimate propose on his Instagram page. He planned a romantic evening complete with a red rose petal and candlelit pathway leading to a crackling fireplace where he popped the question.
A fireplace featured a neon “Lautner” sign signifying the pair becoming one. Of course Dome said yes and Lautner later posted on Instagram a sweet caption:
Cannot wait to spend forever with you @taydome You love me unconditionally. You don’t put up with my ?. You calm me when I’m anxious. You make me laugh way too much. You make every single day spent with you so special.”
The couple celebrated first with their two pups, who are rumored to be ring bearers for the upcoming ceremony.
Later, Lautner and Dome celebrated with close family and friends at the DAOU Vineyards in Paso Robles, California. The couple both posted photos of Dome showing off her gorgeous oval shaped diamond engagement ring.
The Ring
Dome’s ring was custom designed by Ring Concierge, a company whose mission is crafting “fine jewelry for women by women.”
The NYC based company is owned by private jeweler and E-commmerce aficionado Nicole Wegman. The company worked with Taylor to create a stunning ring!
Per Ring Concierge’s instagram, Taylor went with a beautiful Oval Cut set on the Whisper Thin® Pavéd band with a hidden halo. We’re guessing the diamond is somewhere between four to five carats.
Experts are estimating the cost to be somewhere in the range of five to six figures.
