Rolex, along with over 30 other luxury watch brands, revealed unprescedented new products to an audience of 22,000 attendees.

Rolex Releases for 2022
Each year Rolex showcases their finest innovations as watch collectors aww over every minute new detail. And every year, there are several headliners featuring never before seen creativity at Rolex.
First up, the GMT-Master II!
GMT-Master II
The GMT-Master II is one of the most recognizable and collectible Rolex models ever produced. We’ve seen plenty of two tone variations (and nicknames) over the years: The Pepsi (red and blue), Batman (black and blue), and the Rootbeer (black and brown) to name a few.
For the first time ever, we have a black and green combo! And that’s not the only first for the model. Here’s what’s new with the GMT-Master II:
- black and green two tone bezel
- left handed date window and crown
- calibre 3285 movement
- Oyster or Jubilee bracelet
Day-Date 40
The Day-Date is Rolex’s most prestigious model. Believe it or not, Rolex has managed to up the ante with an iced out version.
This year’s Day-Date is produced in 950 platinum– the metal even more precious than gold.
All the new features for the 2022 Day-Date include:
- 940 platinum case and bracelet
- fluted bezel
- ice blue dial with a blue seconds hand
- Roman numerals and hour markers in 18 kt white gold
- Perpetual calibre 3255
Yacht-Master 40
Rolex released a stunning aurora borealis inspired Yacht-Master. The model features 46 diamonds and sapphires in five faint hues to mimic the colors of the majestic northern lights.
2022 Yacht-Master 40 Features:
- 18 carat while gold bezel and case
- 46 blue, silver and pink diamonds and sapphires
- Oysterflex bracelet
Air-King
The new Rolex releases for 2022 wouldn’t be complete without slight configuration updates for the Air-King.
The small but significant enhancements prove that incremental changes can make a huge difference. And gives the watch a more balanced feel.
Here are the features of the Air-King 2022
- crown guards around the winding mechanism
- added zero before the 5-minute marker (5 to 05)
- 40 mm Oystersteel case
- black dial with large 3, 6, and 9 numerals
- 3230 movement
Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31
Finally, we have the new Datejust 31s. Rolex again releases several colorful variations of the Datejust 31. Check out last year’s versions here.
Perhaps the most stunning– the Azzuro-Blue floral motif featuring a single diamond at each flower center.
Other color options include silver and olive green dials. Even further, Rolex offers each colored dial flanked with diamond bezels.
