I can’t figure out which one I love the most and I am constantly trying to choose between my 1680 Submariner, Rolex GMT-Master II and Explorer. And, I am waiting on my Rolex Deepsea to arrive. How to Set the Rolex GMT-Master II
First, remember that you have to wind your Rolex for it to run properly, as we have discussed previously, and for it to keep good time.
The crown has four positions.
- Position 0: Crown screwed all the way down (default position).
- Position 1: Crown unscrewed and just free of the screw threads (for hand-winding).
- Position 2: Crown pulled to first notch and moves the hour hand. This position will also move the date on the quickset model if you move the hour hand past midnight two times.
- Position 3: Crown pulled to second notch and stops the second hand. This moves the minute hand and you can then set the bezel where you like and the hour hand as you like.
How to set the Bezel
The bezel rotates clockwise and counterclockwise on the Rolex GMT-Master II. If your local time zone west of Greenwich, rotate the bezel clockwise by the correct number of hours. If your local time zone is east of Greenwich, rotate the bezel counterclockwise by the correct number of hours.
