Have you noticed how HUGE Pinterest has gotten? I’ll admit that I’m not a huge pinner, but I do like to go on there and browse around, but mostly what I’ve noticed is that about 60% of the custom engagement rings that come through the door here are off of Pinterest! Now, you might be thinking to yourself, how are rings that have already been designed custom engagement rings? Well, that’s easy, because every design comes from somewhere or something, and when a picture of a ring from Pinterest is sent to me to be designed, it could be that the center stone in the picture is round, but you want a pear, or the center stone is a diamond and you want a sapphire, or even the color of the gold that the setting is. And, let’s not even start to talk about what adjustments we have to make because everyone is a different size. What might be good on your hand might not be good on someone else, so we always make adjustments, so that ring is as custom as you want to make it.
