[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]March is a month that is full of celebrations, including the infamous St. Paddy’s day (which for me means emeralds) but this week of March it was brought to my attention by NamesUniverse that it is Celebrate Your Name Week. I didn’t even know that such a week existed, but was so glad when I found out that it did!
Here’s something you might not know about me, and that is that I love to brag about my co-workers. I think we have the most talented group of people working here ever. If you want something made, but aren’t quite sure what you want it to look like, no matter who you visit in our showroom, you will end up with not only the most unique piece of custom jewelry that is the best quality, you will love it.
The Name Bracelet
I have been waiting for months to be able to write about this bracelet that Jay Freedman designed and had made for a customer, and Celebrate Your Name Week is the perfect time to brag about his talent and showcase this phenomenal piece of work!
Jay had a customer who wanted something to celebrate her three children. She knew she wanted their names to be displayed, but she didn’t know on what or how, just something different. She and Jay threw around some ideas and Jay came up with a bracelet that rocked it out.
This name bracelet is laser etched in white gold, but could be made in yellow gold, rose gold or even platinum…hell, it could even be encrusted with diamonds! The name is done in a cursive font and the letters are all attached and the bracelet is a bangle style with the names encircling her wrist in an oval. It has a secure clasp and can be worn every day.
What is so great about this bracelet is that it can be done in any font and can be any size. Whether you have one child or three or even if you wanted your name and your husband’s with your anniversary in the center, this is a fabulous way to show celebrate the names of those you love.
Other Types of Name Jewelry
Okay, we don’t design much name jewelry, but we have done some pretty nifty things with initials, which are the first letters in names, so that technically can be a part of the Celebrate Your Name Week, right?
For instance, you can put the initial of your last name on the bottom of the engagement ring, so when your bride turns the ring over, she will always see her new last name initial.
Wearing initials around your neck, whether they are just one initial, two or all three have always been in style. These can be encrusted in diamonds to bling them out or then can be simple and plain so they can be worn every day. Either way, you can always wear more than one initial on a chain if the initials are small enough…or you are large enough!
And, then there are the ID bracelets that seem to be back in style. Although some people just wear them plain, you can have your name or initials etched into them in any font that is available and you can also have your name or initials embedded into them with diamonds or other gemstones.
