Well if you did, you saw a great show with wonderful performances and moving speeches. I am still moved by the Wizard of Oz tribute performed by Pink. Truly spectacular!

If I had to use one word to describe the fashion at the awards show, it would have to be “classic”. The gowns were spectacular, (I loved Jennifer Lawrence in Dior), and the makeup was simple and stunning. Best of all- did you see the jewelry?

Here are my top four favorite picks for stunning jewelry at the 2014 Oscars (countdown to number 1):

4. Lupita Nyong’o

Luipta wore a light flowing power blue dress designed by Prada. The fresh and elegant look was complimented by a lightly made-up face which showcased how naturally beautiful this actress is. My favorite part, her earrings! To complete the look, Lupita, wore a Fred Leighton diamond headband and stunning crescent diamond earrings featuring rose cut diamonds in 18k yellow gold.

3. Sandra Bullock

The always perfect, Sandra Bullock, did not disappoint dressed in a navy Alexander McQueen gown. The gown fit her beautifully. With her hair swept to the side she looked like a classic movie star from an era of glamour that has long since past. Again, my favorite part, her earrings! Similar to the style Lupita wore, Sandra, wore platinum and diamond cluster earrings designed by Lorraine Schwartz. Estimated cost 1.8 million. Stunning.

3. Jennifer Lawrence

I have always been a fan of Jennifer Lawrence. Maybe it’s her humble humor or her klutzy (yet elegant) fall last year when accepting her Oscar in 2013, but I adore her. Her fashion choices are always refined and edgy. This year, she opted for a more traditional Dior gown in a show-stopping red. She looked flawless. Always a trendsetter, Jennifer, wore a backward diamond necklace designed by Neil Lane, featuring 100-carats of diamonds. If you ever wanted to know what 100-carat of diamonds is worth, the answer is 2 million dollars. American hustle, indeed. Not to be out done by her bedazzled back, she also wore 5-carat diamond studs in each ear.

1. Cate Blanchett

My absolute favorite of the evening was without a doubt, Cate Blanchett. I am usually a fan of color, but this nude-colored Armani Prive gown was gorgeous. To cap off this incredible look, Cate, wore giant Chopard drop earrings with 31 incredible opals set in white gold. I love opals. Seeing these featured so beautifully was just a wonderful treat. She looked incredible on the red carpet and while accepting her much deserved Oscar.
