These two couldn’t be more polar opposite, but they are completely in love and ready to spend their lives together!
Gwen Stefani
Stefani is a 90’s pop icon and Grammy award winner from her days with the band, No Doubt. Later in 2004, she released her first solo album, which featured six hit singles including “Hollaback Girl.” That single went on to become the first US download to sell one million copies!
She was married to British rocker Gavin Rossdale of Bush from 2002 to 2016. The couple share three sons.

Shelton falls on the other end of the music genre. He began his country music crooning career back in 2001, what the debut of ‘Austin.’ His next few albums went Platinum and Gold. Shelton has won countless Country Music Association awards and became a member of the Grand Old Opry in 2010.
Shelton was married to fellow country music artist Miranda Lambert from 2005 to 2015. He’s now a TV personally, and one of the original coaches on the Voice.
Later in 2015 post divorce, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani began dating. They officially met on the The Voice when Gwen took over Christina Aguilera’s spot on the show. Now five years later, wedding bells are in their near future!
Shelton told Rolling Stone “If you had told me that that’s who I’m gonna end up with, I would have thought you were crazy. But she became my closest ally,” in a June 2016 interview.

The Engagement Story
Blake and Gwen live primarily in Los Angeles, but have spent much of the pandemic at his property in Oklahoma. It’s here that Blake realized just how much he wanted to spend the rest of his days with Stefani.
To help Gwen settle down in the country, Blake custom built her a chapel. She’s a devout Catholic, and “her faith is incredibly important to her” according to sources.
The chapel ended up being a perfect backdrop for Blake’s proposal, especially since it means so much to them both. A source shared with US Weekly that …”Gwen loves the chapel so much and she even has a necklace with a charm of the chapel that she wears often.”
We aren’t exactly sure how Blake proposed or what he said, but we’ll make a bet it was heart felt and left Gwen in happy tears. He’s a chivalrous guy after wall.
Case in point– Blake asked Gwen’s father for his blessing before asking Gwen to marry him. He also made sure Gwen’s three sons approved.
“Blake told her boys that he wanted to propose and asked their permission,” a source who is close to Stefani told People. “Her family very much approves of him. He’s an amazing partner and a great extra dad to the boys. Gwen is ecstatic. The proposal was a surprise.”

Shelton had the rock custom made of course. The glittering ring looks to feature a 6 carat brilliant cut diamond, set in six prongs in white gold or platinum.
Some sources and jewelry experts suggest the solitaire to be worth somewhere around $500,000, depending on the exact quality of the stone.

That means the recent live shows are the first time the No Doubt singer has been rocking her epic sparkler on the show.
Wedding plans haven’t been mentioned, but those close to the couple are guessing it will be sooner than later. After five years of dating, they’re ready to make it official!
