Audemars Piguet Royal Oak

The original 1972 Audemars Piguet Royal Oak was released at the annual Switch Watch Show (later named Baselworld). It was a game changer for the brand and it remains a massive international success.
Today’s enhanced and upgraded version keeps a similar feel to early versions.
- Standout octagonal shaped bezel
- Stainless steel case and bracelet
- Trademark “tapisserie” patterned dial
Audemars Piguet said it himself– “to break the rules, you must first master them.” Does your dad live life outside the box? This Father’s Day watch is for him.

Breiling Navitimer or SuperOcean?

For the ultimate tool watch, look no further than the Breitling Navitimer. The Navitimer was crafted specifically for pilots in 1957. It became the official watch of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA).
The slide rule (all the bells and whistles you see on the dial) allowed pilots to multiply, divide, measure average speed, productivity rate, and calculate currency conversions. In addition, pilots could calculate gas consumption, ground speed, miles per minute, rate of climb, and rate of descent, elapsed time. There’s not much the slide rule doesn’t do.
The SuperOcean is a classic dive watch turned everyday sports watch. It was released in 1957 for professional and military divers, but quickly developed a cult-like following. This version showcases a classic white dial paired with a sliver mesh bracelet.
Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch

The Omega Speedmaster holds a key place in history. Buzz Aldrin wore a Speedmaster Professional as he walked on the moon in 1969, hence the Moonwatch title. Furthermore, it’s the ONLY piece of equipment that’s been used in every NASA piloted space mission, from Gemini to the current International Space Station program.
The Omega Moonwatch is a perfect daily wear watch that easily transitions to a business meeting or date night.

Rolex Skydweller

We’re never short on Rolex watches here at Jonathan’s. Our Rolex Sky-Dweller collection is constantly rotating. The Sky-Dweller was released in 2012, and available only in 18-carat yellow gold, white gold, and Everose gold. They later became available in stainless steel and Rolestor.
The Sky-Dweller is another watch for frequent flyers. Travelers can read local time in two time zones at once. The fixed inverted red triangle points to the wearer’s chosen reference time.
Rolex Submariner

Lastly, the Rolex Submariner will always be a perfect Father’s Day watch. The Submariner is one of the most popular models ever produced by Rolex. It was revealed at the Swiss Watch fair in 1954 and targeted at scuba divers because of its high water resistance.
Today, it’s a staple for novice collectors and Rolex connoisseurs alike. Vintage Submariners, like the Rolex ‘Milsub‘ and the Submariner ‘Reds’ are highly sought after and carry a hefty price tag.
Submariners are probably THE most recognizable Rolex watch on the market. They make the perfect Father’s Day watch choice– whether he’s just dipping his toes into the luxury watch scene or he’s a long time fan.
