Fall is right around the corner, but these Texas temps would have us believe otherwise.  We aren’t quite ready to pull out the jackets just yet, but we’re scoping out all the season’s new trends.  Don’t get us wrong- we’re all about our watches, but a luxury accessory is really brought to life with a clean wardrobe.

New York Fashion week just wrapped up, as well as shows in Paris and Milan.  One color that keeps popping up in fall designer wear is brown- in all shades.  Yes, brown is back and it’s not the blah, boring color you might imagine.  Brands from Louis Vuitton to Armani featured new pieces and accessories in camel, taupe, tan, and chocolate.

LET’S LOOK AT 5 TRENDING FALL STAPLES IN NOTES OF BROWN + OUR TOP WATCH PICKS TO MATCH:

The Bomber and Biker Jacket

Biker Jacket via BOSS- $2,795

Classic biker and pilot wear are once again trending this season.  These jackets pair well with everything from dressed up denim and sneaks to suit trousers.  Luxury brands such as Gucci, Hugo Boss, and Club Monaco have all incorporated biker and bomber jackets into their fall line.

Subtle Plaid Pants

Not your every day woodchopper flannel.  Plaid gets a makeover this season in bold, bright patterns and is being worn head to toe.   Checks were seen all over the Thom Browne, Charles Jeffrey Loverboy and Versace runways.  If you’re not ready for the plaid pants look just yet, start with a wool suit coat or subtle plaid button up.

A Cable Knit Sweater

Perfect for home, the outdoors or the office- a classic, cable knit sweater works every time.  We’re seeing a lot of rugged, outdoor wear being introduced into everyday style.  Loungy Birkenstocks, hiking boots and climbing pants have infiltrated street wear and we aren’t sad about it.  Ladies- you know you love it.

A Tailored suit

millionaire entrepreneur Gianluca Vacate

If there’s only one action you take after reading this post (ahem…after coming to see us for your next luxury watch), it’s this- GO GET YOURSELF A TAILORED SUIT.  Once you go custom-made, you’ll never go back. Trust us on this one. Rich and creamy fabrics, specialized tapering and exclusive embellishments….oh my! With holiday party season ahead, it’s an essential.

Brown probably isn’t your first thought when it comes to a suit, but don’t be afraid to stand out in a crowd. Slim fit and double breasted are styles we’re seeing as of late.  Angela Galasso, Armani, Canali, and Gucci are a few luxury European brands that offer custom tailoring in select stores.

Chelsea Boots

Common Projects suede Chelsea boot- $529

Finish off any fall look with a pair of Chelsea Boots.  Seriously. They look just as good with your best suit as your most worn pair of jeans.  The style is attributed to Queen Victoria’s bootmaker in the mid-1800s.  The Chelsea name was adopted after London’s Chelsea area trend setters began sporting the style. They REALLY exploded after The Beatles and The Rolling Stones picked them up and still remain a favorite of style icons today.

TOP 3 WATCH PICKS TO ACCOMPANY BROWN

Rolex Submariner

Breaking style rules never looked so good.  The black matte dial and brown leather strap of this Submariner pairs perfectly with caramel tones.

The chestnut brown Cerechrom bezel and complications are striking against the ice blue dial.

Blue or green tones are known for complimenting shades of brown.  We love the pairing of this Omega Seamaster blue dial and a brown leather strap.
