New 2014 Rolex Cellini Models

With Baselworld 2015 fast approaching, it got me thinking of some of my favorite releases from this year, 2014.  As a Rolex lover, I was happy to see the new models for the Cellini Collection and the new Oyster Models. In particular, the new Cellini models are incredible.

I have always loved the Cellini collection. It is just looks so classy. The latest models are a testament to that. Think the Rat Pack, Hotel Sands and Sammy Davis Jr. This is what I think when I see these new models.

The new Cellini models come in three different versions, Cellini Time, Cellini Date and Cellini Dual Time.

The Cellini Time

The Cellini Time is a classic watch finished with the immaculate perfection that comes from Rolex. With no additional movements to calculate day or date, the face is clean and clear with just the Rolex and Cellini logos. On an alligator band, this model comes in white gold and everose gold with the dial in white or black.

The Cellini Date

The Cellini Date is the beauty of the Cellini Time with an additional movement to calculate the date. Different from previous Rolex Datejust (which shows the date through the Rolex Cyclops), the date movement is displayed on a clock style calendar on the dial. The result is modern twist on the classic style. On an alligator band, this model comes in white gold and everose gold with the dial in white or black.

The Cellini Dual Time

The Cellini Dual Time takes the engineering of the Rolex Skydweller and sets it in this classic style of the Cellini. This models allows the wearer to set the hour of their home time zone and the visiting time zone so they can accurately, at-a-glance, tell the time in both time zones. It also features a night/day window to show at-a-glance if the hour is PM or AM.  Similar to the Cellini Time and Cellini Date, this model comes in white gold and everose gold with the dial in white or black.
